Emergency Services
Bay County is part of the enhanced 911 emergency system. A 911 call will bring fire, police, and ambulance service from a single dispatcher. Ambulance Service
Bay Medical Center provides ambulance and emergency medical services for all of Bay County. Six ambulances are on call with stand-by units available. In addition to emergency room response, the Medical Center ambulance service provides critical care and non-emergency transport. There are 85 trained EMS professionals staffing the main unit at the Bay Medical Center in Panama City, branch locations in Panama City Beach, Lynn Haven, Callaway, a quick response unit in northern Bay County.
