elected officials on the local, state and federal levels.
The department surveys the Chamber membership annually to
create the Chamber’s State and Federal Legislative Agendas. |

| The Vice
President of Governmental Affairs oversees the Governmental
Affairs Committee which monitors activities ofthe city,
county state and federal government entities, specifically
relating to transportation, education, and issues affecting

| The committee hosts the annual “Bay Day” in Tallahassee, Florida’s Capitol, to gain face time with Senate and House members on the various issues outlined in the Chamber’s State Legislative Agenda. The committee also travels to Washington D.C. to meet with Florida’s congressional representatives to present the issues outlined in the Chamber’s Federal Legislative Agenda. |
