"One day after several hours of dead ends, I contacted the Bay County Chamber of Commerce for their assistance. I had contacted several businesses looking for a donation of small items to use as giveaways for children doing a United Way photo shoot for Innovations Federal Credit Union. I was looking for a contact name and number for the new Dairy Queen location. I remembered seeing a gentleman receive an award at First Friday, so knew he was a Chamber member. Within seconds of talking to the Chamber, I had the contact name and number of Mike Madwell.

I contacted Mike and not only did he make the donation graciously, but happened to need some information about Innovations. It was a win-win situation. Less than an hour after making the call to the Chamber, I was picking up the items at airy Queen. Next time, the first phone will be to the Chamber to see what or who they recommend! It is great to have connections in the business community and this it just one of the many benefits if being a member of of the Chamber."
