First Friday
Going strong since 1957 and held on the first Friday of every month, this is one of the Chamber’s most popular monthly events. The event includes an update on Chamber activities, Apple of our Eye awards, sponsor message, community interest program, new member introductions and community announcements. Attendance is average of 200+ people.

Business After Hours (BAH)
An evening social, held monthly at different Chamber member locations. This is a great networking opportunity for new, current and prospective members. This event highlights the sponsoring members’ business and is attended by an average of 125 people each month.

Chamber New Member 411 Orientation
New and existing members are invited to a special breakfast orientation held bi-monthly. The purpose of this meeting is to introduce new members to the Chamber and staff while giving them a chance to introduce their businesses and make new contacts. If you have a new employee and would like them to attend, contact the Chamber office.

Held in January, the Annual Dinner celebrates the Chambers previous year’s accomplishments, award presentations, and recognizes both the new and retiring Chairman. The evening is filled with dinner and live entertainment.

Tourism Appreciation Month
National Tourism Week is the first full week in May. The Bay County Chamber takes it a step further and celebrates the month of May as Tourism Appreciation Month to highlight the importance of tourism in our community. In conjunction with the title sponsors we recognize our number one industry including the following events:
Annual Spring Classic Golf Tournament - This annual tournament is an opportunity to network with Chamber members and do business while enjoying a day on the golf course.
Business After Hours/Jungle-ball Volleyball Tournament - This fun event involves various member businesses competing in a friendly game of Jungleball for first, second and third place while other cheer on their favorite teams and network during Business After Hours.
In conjunction with these events, Tourism Appreciation Month is a public awareness campaign encouraging business owners and the community to say “Thank You for Visiting” on business marquees, signs and websites.

Local First Responders Appreciation
The event is a way to say thank and honor those who risk their lives to save others, offering the business community an opportunity to express appreciation for the service that first responders and our military provide in their day-to-day jobs.
This is also a community awareness campaign encouraging business owners to "thank" our First Responders on business marquees or by offering them a discount during a designated week.
