Movies at the Park in Millville

Movies in the Park is a community outreach program by the Millville Comunity Redevelopment Agency to provide family entertainment to the community.

 

The event will be held the 3rd Thursday of every month starting in April and continuing through October.  A 16 ft. inflatable screen is provided in the park and the Millville Community Alliance will be offering food and drinks during the show.  Attendees are urged to bring blankets and/or chairs.

Anderson III is an eco-adventure tour for all ages.  Just imagine the excitement when you pull a trawl net aboard and pass around the sea life, catch crabs in a trap, observe the aquatic bird life and watch the growing family of nesting ospreys.  This is an educational and fun-filled time to learn about native sea life, including historical landmarks in the area.

The Better Business Bureau of Northwest Florida Foundation is hosting a “Torch Award for Marketplace Ethics” online auction. The auction runs from 9 a.m. Monday, May 20 through 3 p.m. Thursday, May 30.
