he American Cancer Society Relay For Life is a nationwide effort to fight cancer and celebrate survivorship in our local communities. Teams relay at local schools, parks, or fairgrounds and take turns walking or running around a path. Each team is asked to have a representative on the track at all times, while entertainment, music, and fun activities keep things lively. Symbolizing the battle waged around the clock by those facing cancer. Every Relay For Life event is a time for family and friends to honor cancer survivors, remember those lost to this disease, and raise funds and awareness to help end cancer forever. Too many people will be touched by cancer this year. Relay For Life events are our opportunity to inspire hope by raising funds and awareness to help those facing the disease.
