Florida Department of Transportation Public Hearing
The Florida Department of Transportation will hold a public hearing today (Tuesday) at 10:00 a.m. at the Bay County Governmental Center to discuss input on projects included in their five-year plan for Bay, Calhoun, Gulf, Jackson, Holmes, and Washington counties.
The tentative five-year plan includes any infrastructure projects being enforced or funded between July 1, 2013 and June 30, 2018.
The meeting is open to the public and will be in the Bay County Government Center's conference room, located at 840 W. 11th St. in Panama City.

Bay County Legislative Delegation Public Hearing
There will be a public hearing on Tuesday, December 11, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the County Commissioner's Chamber. The meeting will be held by members of the Bay County state legislative delegations, who are receiving comments on proposals for the 2013 Legislative Session. The delegation, led by Chairman Jimmy Patronis, will also listen to local proposals, including state legislation that only pertains to a municipality, school district, or taxing district within Bay County.
