The Bay County Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the 12th Junior Leadership Bay class. JLB is an exciting program for high school juniors, designed to educate local students on the resources and opportunities in Bay County. At the end of each year, one student is selected to receive a scholarship to attend Gulf Coast Community College and Florida State University Panama City Campus.
Twenty-two high school juniors who show potential for becoming future leaders in Bay County were chosen to participate in the program. Junior Leadership Bay is an eight month program designed to prepare, develop and enhance juniors for future roles in community leadership at an early point in life.

Junior Leadership Bay is administered by a steering committee comprised of many Bay County businesses. The members of the steering committee and their employers give up much of their time to insure the success of the program.
